The Arc of Wilson County provides . . .

Advocacy for the developmentally disabled and their families in their work place, schools, living arrangements, etc.

Self-Advocacy support group that enables the developmentally disabled to further develop the ability to function as productive, tax-paying citizens through workshops, speakers and social outings.

Public Education through program materials, speakers, workshops, etc., about the developmentally disabled.
- Services for the developmentally disabled such as:
Wilson County Special Olympics. A program of The Arc of Wilson County
Networking with other agencies to offer additional programs.
Library with printed material available to all its members on developmental disabilities.
Hope Singers (40 members), an outreach of Self-Advocacy Program.
Dances for ages 16+ (attendance 250-300).
Summer Camp program for (135) students ages 4-21
